Overview
At DCA Computers we specialise in the supply and repair of all desktop computers, laptops and servers. We also have an extensive range of wholesale computer parts available both in-store and on-line. Our qualified technicians are customer focused and will be happy to advise on the best solution for a repair, upgrade, or new computer purchase. We also specialise in high performance computers for gaming, video editing, or general home/office power users. All services are performed both in-store & on-site. We have 6 functioning computer packages on display at all times. These packages combine the latest, best value for money, and most reliable technologies, as researched by our staff on a daily basis. Unlike most PC building companies, DCA tests all components individually and separately prior to PC construction, to ensure our reputation for building the highest quality computers is maintained.
This method of computer construction allows us to achieve the lowest warranty return rate in the industry. However, if you do require warranty service, you will be well looked after.
Our testing regime includes Core Temp, Memtest x86, Prime 95, 3D Mark 2006, 3D Mark Vantage, PCMark Vantage, Superpi and ATTO Disk benchmark.
Each PC is rigorously tested to ensure performance is within correct parameters as specified by our experienced technicians.
General
DCA was established in 1993 as a local PC sales and repair store, servicing home and business customers in the Sydney region. Over the years quality control systems were developed which allowed an advanced level of computer construction, that ultimately achieved one of the lowest failure rates in the industry. This level of reliability was eventually noticed by the more tech savvy users, who tend to become advisors to all and sundry. Through word of mouth, DCA has built up a clientele base that has continued to grow across Sydney and indeed all of Australia.
As in any computer business, a large number of post sale enquiries relate to software corruption or virus and malware interference, that has occurred after the PC was purchased. At DCA we understand this and provide our customers with caring and worthwhile in-store and telephone advice, without charging the customer for basic issues.
With respect to our repair service, we pride ourselves on our fast turnaround times on all service work, and are able to quote all repairs and replacement parts in an efficient and timely manner.
We also take great pride in our 'Excellence in Computer Engineering' philosophy which sets the standard for our staff when building DCA high end systems. These configurations are often used for power hungry applications such as Photoshop rendering, CAD, video editing, sound editing, and other professional applications. This focus has enhanced our reputation for building the fastest, best value for money computing solutions. You will regularly see DCA gaming towers reviewed by Australian IT magazines as the fastest and best value available in the market. The recent ‘Viper’ addition has brought acclaim from many areas of the industry and competition gaming community.

Our computer systems are predominately made to order, however, we do carry stock of the more common configurations.
We require a 20% deposit at order placement for in-store purchases. Online purchases must be prepaid.
The general lead time for building ordered PCs is approximately 2 days. High performance PC’s take an extra day for burn in stress testing certification.
The following forms of payment are acceptable: cash, direct bank deposit, Pay Pal and credit cards (Amex and Diners attract a 3% surcharge).
We use Fastway couriers to send out our products right around the country.
Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you register and purchase from the website. You will be presented with suitable shipping options when you order.
